ChainTraced can approve lot transactions from a supplier for you when the results meet your product specifications. This saves the manual review for the deliveries that need it: results out of specification, early warnings, or suppliers you want to keep an eye on.
Where: Registry > Counterparties, open the supplier, tab Settings, expand More Settings under Supplier.
The two settings
|
Setting |
Approves automatically when |
|---|---|
|
Auto approve transactions that match your specifications |
One of your products is linked to the transaction, the product has specifications, every result on the attached manufacturing lot is within them, and no early warning is triggered. A transaction with a missing product, a product without specifications, or a failing result waits in Needs your approval. |
|
Auto-approve products with no specifications |
As above, and also when the linked product has no specifications at all (no characteristic or substance groups). Can only be switched on when the first setting is on. |
Both apply per supplier, so you can trust one supplier's QA fully and review another's every delivery.
What is checked
-
The transaction is a lot transaction. Product transactions are never auto-approved.
-
A manufacturing lot is attached, with the results to compare.
-
The supplier is a counterparty of yours and connected in ChainTraced.
-
The linked product's specifications are met, or the product has none and the second setting is on.
-
No early warning is triggered, if your company has the Early Warning setting on. Early warnings flag results that drift towards the limits over time; see Account setup and company settings.
An auto-approved transaction goes straight to Approved ; the supplier is notified as for a manual approval. Everything else lands in Needs your approval and is reviewed as described in View and Approve Supplier Transactions.
