This page explains how ChainTraced is laid out: the side menu, the Home page, your account and company menus, and how the list pages work.
New names. Records are now Transactions. The menu groups Product Transactions and Lot Transactions were called Part Approvals and Lot Approvals, and their items Supplier and Customer were called Supplier Records and Customer Records (earlier still Inbound and Outbound). Manufacturing Lots moved from the Production group into Lot Transactions. Pages, links and your data are unchanged.
Side menu
The side menu on the left is the main way to move around. Groups fold with the arrow next to their name, and the whole menu collapses with the icon next to the ChainTraced logo. What you see depends on your permissions and subscription.

Supplier or Customer?
Every transaction has two sides, and each side sees it under a different menu item.

A company that both buys and sells uses both items. The pages look the same; only the direction differs.
Home page
You land on Home after logging in and can return to it any time from the menu. It shows your open transactions per type and status (click a number to open the list already filtered), pending connection requests and recent changes to ChainTraced. You can also subscribe to a weekly email with the same overview, sent every Monday.
Your account and your company
Your name and avatar at the bottom of the side menu open a menu with your company's settings pages (users, company settings, fields, API keys), your personal Settings (profile, Multi-Factor Authentication, language and format), Switch company if you belong to more than one, and Logout. See Account setup and company settings.
The interface language you pick under Settings translates ChainTraced itself. Data entered by you and your counterparties, such as product descriptions and comments, is shown as entered.
Working with lists
All list pages (transactions, lots, products, counterparties) work the same way.
