When a connected supplier already keeps the PCF of their product in ChainTraced, you do not have to wait for them to answer a request. Create the request yourself with the supplier's own product number, and their current PCF is copied onto it the moment it is created. You then approve it and the emissions are on your purchased product.
Where: Product Transactions > Supplier, then Create new Product Transaction.
Ask the supplier for their product numbers first. The copy only works when the number you type is exactly the number the supplier uses in ChainTraced, so agree on a list with them, and check that they keep the PCF for those products up to date.
Create the request

Click Create new Product Transaction and pick the Product Transaction template Environmental Declaration.

Pick the supplier as counterparty and your purchased product.

Enter the Supplier product number exactly as the supplier states it.

Click Request From Supplier, or Request From Supplier & Duplicate to go straight on to the next product with the same supplier.
Do not use Request PCF on the product for this: it does not let you enter the supplier's product number.

The Emissions column is hidden by default; switch it on with Columns above the list. See Navigation.
Approving stores the supplier's figures on your product. When the supplier publishes a new PCF for the product later, create a new request the same way to take over the new figures.
