Follow this page if a customer or supplier has invited you to ChainTraced and your company has no account yet. You will create your own user account first, then the company account, and you become its owner. If your company already has an account, ask a colleague to invite you instead; see Create a user account.
Accounts are created by invitation only. The invitation comes by email from hello@chaintraced.com, either as a connection invitation from your contact at the counterparty or as a transaction they sent you. It names the person and company who invited you and is valid for 60 days. If you cannot find it, check your junk folder, ask your IT department whether chaintraced.com is blocked, and otherwise write to hello@chaintraced.com.
1. Create your user account

Click the button in the invitation email. It opens Register an account in ChainTraced.

Enter your Firstname, Lastname and E-mail, read and tick the Terms and Conditions, and click Sign up.

ChainTraced sends a confirmation email. Open the link in it to verify your address.

Choose a password on Set your password and click Set password. You can now log in at app.chaintraced.com.
2. Create the company account
After the first login, a user without a company is taken to the company registration page. What you see depends on your email domain.

Enter the Company Name and choose the Country/Area. The address fields are optional; the address is printed on the PDFs ChainTraced generates and can be changed later in Company Settings.

Tick I understand that upon successful registration, I will be responsible for managing my company's ChainTraced account. This makes you the account's owner.

Click Create Company, then Go to home page. Continue later leaves the company uncreated; you are brought back here at your next login.
3. You are connected to the inviter
A counterparty for the company that invited you is created in your account. Whether it is connected straight away depends on how you were invited.

Once connected, their open requests to you appear under Lot Transactions or Product Transactions: under Customer if the inviter buys from you, under Supplier if they supply you. Next steps: invite your colleagues and set up the company in Account setup and company settings.
